Rochester, N.Y. – The field hockey team recorded their first victory of the season Saturday, beating Nazareth College 2-1.
 
Rachel Johnston scored her first goal of the season at 12:27, with an assist coming from Ashley Fiorille. Johnston scored again in the second half, this time with an assist from Lisa O'Callaghan.
 
Nazareth's Sibongile Chisi scored at 68:03 with an assist from Maggie Muzio.
 
Oswego outshot Nazareth 11-5 in the game.
 
The Lakers will travel to Aurora, N.Y. at 4 p.m. on Thursday to face Wells College.
