Plattsburgh, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's soccer team gave up a late goal to St. Lawrence University and lost 2-1 in Plattsburgh's Cardinal Classic on Saturday.

The Saints jumped out to an early lead when Julia Frisen scored on an assist from Nyssa LaClair. Oswego's
Tia Segretto netted her first goal of the season with an assist from
Nicole Perniciaro to tie the game at one before the half.

Samantha Rock scored in the 77th minute for St. Lawrence, giving them the 2-1 advantage.Â

Alyssa Glasshagel started in goal for Oswego, giving up one goal while having five saves in the first half.
Steph Hotaling had three saves and gave up one goal in the second.

Georgia Traynor were named to the All-Tournament team.

Oswego placed second in the classic coming behind St. Lawrence.Â
