ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Oswego State field hockey team lost a 5-2 SUNYAC contest at Oneonta on Saturday afternoon, dropping Oswego's record to 2-6 on the season and 0-3 in conference. Oneonta's win lifts its marks to 4-4, 2-1.

Rachel Johnston answered back with her first goal of the season coming off an assist by teammate
Abigail Leahey. Although Johnston's goal pulled the Lakers to within a goal, the Red Dragons added another score before half to lead 3-1.
Oswego goalkeeper
Grace Lombardi took over between the pipes for the second half, facing 16 shots and collecting nine saves in just 35 minutes of play. The senior only allowed two goals in the period.
Freshman
Monica Harvey scored her first career goal rebounding an initial shot in the final minutes of the game, making the score 5-2.
The Lakers will return to action when they travel to face Keystone College for a 1 p.m. contest on Thursday.
