BOX SCOREITHACA, N.Y. – The Oswego State field hockey team fell to Ithaca College by a score of 4-0 on the road Wednesday evening. With the loss, the Lakers drop to 0-2 on the season while the Bombers improve to 1-1.
Oswego fell behind early in the first half after a goal scored by Ithaca's Lauren Delia but were able to hold the Bombers to only a 2-0 lead by half. The Lakers fought valiantly but were never able to rally back in the second half.
Senior
Grace Lombardi, who played all 70 minutes in net for Oswego, was able to register seven saves.
The Lakers are back in action at 12 p.m. on Saturday for an away game against the Golden Flyers of Nazareth College.
