OSWEGO, N.Y. – Oswego State intercollegiate athletics will have just one team at home this weekend with four other programs on the road for competitions.
 
Men's ice hockey will remain on campus for two nonconference games over the weekend. Oswego will host Hobart College at 7 p.m. on Friday. The matchup features two nationally recognized programs, as Oswego is currently No. 4 in the D3hockey.com poll and No. 5 in the USCHO.com rankings while the Statesmen are receiving votes in each. Oswego will then play in a rare Sunday afternoon game as Southern New Hampshire University comes to the Marano Campus Center Arena for a 2 p.m. face-off.

Wrestling will kickoff the weekend for the Lakers, taking part in the two-day Budd Whitehill Division III Duals, hosted by Lycoming College beginning at 9 a.m. on Friday. The Lakers will finish up the bouts starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday.

Women's ice hockey will compete in the Saint Michael's College Doubletree Ice Hockey Classic on Friday and Saturday in Colchester, Vt. The Lakers will start with Plymouth State University at 4 p.m. on Friday before facing the host Purple Knights at the same time on Saturday.

Both basketball teams will each play one game this weekend at SUNYAC rival Cortland. The men will start at 5:30 p.m., followed by the women's game at 7:30 p.m. Oswego's men currently sit in first place of the conference standings at 3-0 after the Red Dragon's lost their first game of the season earlier in the week to New Paltz. The women will look to move back to .500 in SUNYAC play, facing the conference unbeaten standing's leader.
