AURORA, N.Y. – The Oswego State field hockey dropped its final nonconference match of the regular season 1-0 at Wells College on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, Oswego now has a 3-8 mark on the season while the Express improve to 4-9.
 
Despite taking seven more penalty corners than Wells (8-1), Oswego was unable to find the back of the net over the course of the contest. The game's only tally came in the 28^th minute when Shianne Stokes crossed the ball from right to left to Chandler Fitzgerald for the score.
 
Oswego recorded four shots in the tilt, two of which were on-goal. Senior Lisa O'Callaghan accounted for three of the team's shots and both of its on-goal chances.
 
In goal, sophomore Sarita Charap made one save in the loss.
 
The Lakers will return to action at 4 p.m. on Wednesday when it hosts SUNYAC-foe Cortland for Senior Day.
