POTSDAM, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's ice hockey team shut out the Potsdam 4-0 on the road Friday night. With the win Oswego goes to 2-1-2 in the conference while improving to 3-2-2 overall. Potsdam moves to 3-3-2 on the year (ECAC West).

After an evenly matched beginning to the first, Andrea Noss broke the stalemate scoring at the 5:44 mark. With that, the offense began to formulate as just 1:46 later Brianna McFall notched her first goal as a Laker. The freshman defender wouldn't stop there either, recording another in the third and assisting on the final goal scored by Rachel Lenard.

Mariah Madrigal got the nod in net, tying a career-high with 31 saves in her second-career shutout.  

Women's ice hockey will square off against the Potsdam again at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
