OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State field hockey team fell 4-2 to Hamilton College at Laker Turf Stadium Tuesday afternoon. With the loss, the Lakers remain winless at 0-4, while Hamilton moves to 3-0.
After allowing two goals midway through the first, the Lakers were able to spark some momentum going into halftime.

Maddie Nelson was there to clean up the rebound, bypassing the keeper with a low shot and closing the gap to one with 22 seconds remaining in the half.
The second half was a mirror image of the first, as Oswego gave up two goals early in the period.
Emily Lange was able to get one back with a chip shot over the Hamilton goalie but the Lakers eventually fell 4-2.
Goal keeping duties were split by the Lakers, beginning with
Grace Lombardi who stopped six shots in the first 49:35.
Alex Theisen relieved the senior after that, collecting five saves of her own.
Field Hockey will return to action at 4 p.m. on Friday as it heads to Western New York to take on the Golden Eagles of Brockport.
