OSWEGO, N.Y. - Seven teams will be competing this weekend, three of which are slated for home competitions.

Coming off victory over Brockport in its first SUNYAC game, the field hockey team will begin its weekend hosting No. 17 New Paltz at 5 p.m. on Friday at Laker Turf Stadium. The following day, the Lakers will battle the Red Dragons of Oneonta starting at 3 p.m.

Men's soccer will kick-off the weekend with its first taste of SUNYAC play, beginning with a bout with Oneonta at 3 p.m. on Friday. The following day, the Lakers will host the Hawks of New Paltz at 12 p.m. at Laker Turf Stadium as well.

The women's tennis team will start its weekend off traveling to Rochester where the squad will meet the Cardinals of St. John Fisher for a 4 p.m. start. The day after that, the Lakers will be hosting the Blue Devils of Fredonia at 12 p.m. at the Romney Outdoor Tennis Courts.

After an impressive outing at the Oswego State Invitational where the men took second and the women took fifth, the Lakers will travel west to Rochester to run in the Roberts Wesleyan Anderson Invite. The invitational starts at 11 A.M.

The women's soccer team finds itself on the road this weekend beginning with a battle against SUNYAC-foe Oneonta at 3 p.m. on Friday. The team will then travel to nearby New Paltz to play 1 p.m. game against the Hawks

After splitting games in the Potsdam Triangular tournament, the women's volleyball team will gear up for conference-play as it gets set to participate in SUNYAC Pool Play as hosted by Oneonta. Friday, the squad will be squaring off against Cortland at 5 p.m. Then on Saturday, the Lakers will play the host Red Dragons of Oneonta at 10 a.m. before a match with the Golden Eagles of Brockport at 12:30.
