OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State men's soccer team falls 3-0 to William Paterson College in the championship game of the Oswego State Men's Soccer Classic on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Lakers fall to 1-2 on the season. The Pioneers improve to 2-0 on the year.

After going down three goals in the first half, Oswego's defense stepped up, only allowing three shots on goal in the second. The offense found a few opportunities, including two shots on goal from Alex Sestak, but were unable to capitalize, eventually falling to William Paterson.

Senior goalkeeper Todd Lawson played all 90 minutes for the Lakers, accumulating seven saves.

Men's soccer will head to Clinton, N.Y. for a 4:30 p.m. game on Friday against the Continentals of Hamilton College.
