PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's ice hockey team fell 5-0 to No. 1 Plattsburgh in the ECAC West semifinal at Ronald B. Stafford Arena Saturday afternoon. With the loss, Oswego concludes its season with an overall record of 12-11-4. The Cardinals improve to 25-1-0.
Oswego held with the top team in the country through the first 20 minutes of play, holding the Cardinals to just one goal. Plattsburgh would up the pressure in the next two stanzas though, adding on four more goals.
Senior
Tori Trovato got the start in net for the Lakers, putting up 32 saves in her final outing on the ice.
Most of Oswego's offense was derived from
Kendall Appelbaum, who fired five shots throughout the game, but none were able to get by Plattsburgh's Camille Leonard.

Lizzy Marks had the team's best day, winning half of her draws (8).
