PHOENIX, N.Y. – The Oswego State golf team completed the weekend's St. John Fisher College Invitational with a final 18-hole score of 334. The Lakers totaled a 981 through three rounds over the course of two days to finish in third place.
Corey Marshall continued to pace the Lakers on Sunday after shooting a 150 through the first two rounds. The sophomore shot an 87 to solidify his standing in eighth place.
Three other Oswego players came in the top-25 standings;
Sean Paul Owen tied for 14th with a total of 245,
Zachary Hiris finished in sole possession of 21st with a total score of 252 and Stuart Winn tied for 22nd with his third-round score of 80 and total of 253.
Kyle McCloskey rounded off Oswego's team scoring with his total of 257, which was good enough to put him in 27th place.
The Lakers will travel to Penn Yan, N.Y. on Wednesday for the Keuka College Invitational at Lakeside Country Club; play will begin at 11 a.m.
