OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State volleyball team made quick work 3-0 (25-13, 25-17, 25-12) of St. John Fisher College on Wednesday night in Max Ziel Gymnasium. Oswego's victory moves the team to 6-2 on the year while the Cardinals drop to 3-6.

As a team, Oswego hit .265 with 31 kills and just nine errors. The Laker defense's size posed a problem for Fisher, forcing 28 Cardinals attacking errors to go along with five Oswego team blocks.

Sophomore
Ariel Murawski filled the stat sheet in the tilt, recording match-highs for kills (9), hitting percentage (.368 – min. 10 attempts), service aces (3) and block assists (3). Murawski also had four digs.

Tying Murawski's match-high three blocks was classmate
Alison Sullivan, with each players total coming on assists. Sullivan chipped in five kills at a .444 clip as well.

In the aces column, libero
Jessica Long matched Murawski with three of her own. The junior also tied for a team-high eight digs, along with senior
Emma Moriarty.

Senior
Lindsey Champitto paced Oswego with 10 assists on sets to couple with four digs. Classmate
Lauren Edwards had seven assists, five digs and one ace.

Rounding out the team's kill total were
Isabella Winklestine and
Meaghan Roefs with three apiece and Champitto,
Megan Russell and
Laura Finn adding one each. Winklestine also had five digs and a block assist. Russell ended with two block assists while Roefs had one.
