CLINTON, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's soccer team closed its regular season with a 1-0 loss in overtime at Hamilton College on Tuesday afternoon.
Both teams were unable to record a goal in regulation, with Oswego's defense and goalkeeping helping push extra time. Sophomore goalie
Emma Allen made 11 saves combined in the first and second halves to force overtime. In the overtime,
Nicolette LaRosa was able to stop a shot on defense but the rebound was put home for the game-winner by Hamilton's Katja Dunlap.
Oswego was able to take three shots in the contest, with all three coming on-goal. Senior
Sarah Grupp accounted for two of those shots while junior
Audrey Burbidge attempted the other.
Oswego finishes 7-7-1 overall on the year while the Continentals improve to 9-4-2.
