OSWEGO, N.Y. - The Oswego State volleyball team fell to Wells College, 3-1, on Wednesday evening at Max Ziel Gymnasium. Scores for the match were 24-26, 25-14, 20-25, and 21-25. With the loss, Oswego falls to 11-16 while the Express improve to 17-11.
Leaders for the Lakers were senior
Isabella Winklestine with 11 kills, sophomore
Shauna O'Flaherty with eight kills and 13 digs, and junior
Alison Sullivan with nine kills and seven blocks. Sophomore
Julia Flohr had 20 assists and seven digs while fellow setter
Alison Berger notched a double-double with 13 assists and 11 digs. Freshman
Melissa Lussier had seven kills and three blocks with sophomore
Sarah Massie chipped in with six kills.
Oswego returns to the court on Saturday for Senior Day. The Lakers kick off against SUNY Poly at 11 a.m. and then take on Alfred University at 3 p.m. where they will honor seniors
Rina Qelaj and Winklestine.
