ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's basketball team fell 66-37 in a nonconference matchup at Nazareth College on Tuesday evening. Oswego is now 1-3 overall while the Golden Flyers improve to 2-1.

Courtney Ameele had a season-high 23 points in the outing lead all Laker scorers. The senior was efficient from the field all night, going 8-for-17 from the floor. Ameele's 23 points was just two shy of her career-high, which was set on Nov. 20, 2015 against Wells College. She was also able to tie a career-mark with five made 3-pointers, a feat she accomplished as a freshman at Fredonia on Feb. 6, 2015.

Helping in the point column was Zana Dillard (5), Rachael Windhausen (3), Sarah Feminella (3), Morgan Wolanin (2) and Quincey Zimmerman (1).
On the glass, Dillard and Feminella each collected nine boards while Ameele missed a double-double by just three rebounds. Four of Feminella's rebounds extended the Lakers' possession as it came off the offensive glass.

Oswego was able to force 11 turnovers by Nazareth, seven of which came by way of steals. Ameele, Dillard, Wolanin, Zimmerman, Erin Gantley, Raiven Encarnacion and Tatyana Fish each had a steal apiece.

The Lakers will take the rest of the week off for Thanksgiving before returning to the hardwood at 6 p.m. on Monday when they visit SUNY Canton.
