OSWEGO, N.Y. – The No. 2/3 Oswego State men's ice hockey team embarks on its final regular season weekend, hosting Fredonia at 7 p.m. on Friday before Buffalo State comes to campus for a 7 p.m. puck drop on Saturday. Friday night's contest will be Laker Pride Night as all fans are asked to wear Oswego yellow while Saturday is Senior Night, celebrating the team's Class of 2017 following the tilt with the Bengals.
There will be a special Twitter contest during Friday's game, as fans are asked to post photos of them showing their school spirit with the hashtag #LakerPride. Posts showing the most pride will be displayed on the video board during the intermissions, while the winner of the contest will be shown during the third period. The winner of the #LakerPride hashtag contest will also earn a $50 gift card to Amazon.
After the matchup with the Bengals on Saturday, Oswego will honor its senior class with a brief video followed by individual recognition for goalie's coach

Oswego faced off with Fredonia and Buffalo State on the road prior to the winter break. The Lakers – ranked No. 1/1 and still boasting an undefeated record – down Fredonia 4-2 before suffering its first setback of the year, 5-1, at No. 10/11 Buffalo State. In the game against the Blue Devils, Oswego tallied the tilt's last four goals to erase a 2-0 second-period deficit. Hulshof and Neil scored the squad's first two goals in the final minute of the middle period while Galati notched two in the third, including the game-winner.
