DELHI, N.Y. – The Oswego State golf team's 'A' team scored a 313 on Saturday to take second place in the SUNY Delhi Spring Invitational. Oswego trailed only the host Broncos, who's 'A' squad shot a 302 for first place. The Lakers' 'B' entry in the tournament shot 332.

Erik Schleicher shot the best round for the Lakers, competing with Oswego 'A' and placing a 73 on the scorecard. Sean Paul Owen was next for Oswego, also with 'A', using 76 strokes to complete his round. Following the conclusion of the tournament, Schleicher and Owen each were named to the All-Tournament Team.

Oswego's third and fourth lowest scored came from 'B' as Stu Winn was just one stroke back of Owen with a 77. Sophomore Kyle McCloskey followed closely behind with a sub-80 round of 79.
Rounding out the scoring for Oswego 'A' were Corey Marshall and Nick Gramuglia, each tallying an 82.

Oswego will return to the course at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 25 when it heads to the Elmira College Spring Invitational at the Elmira Country Club.
