ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's soccer team suffered its first conference setback of the year 4-0 at Oneonta on Saturday afternoon. Oswego is now 4-2-1 overall on the year while dropping to 1-1-0 in SUNYAC action. The Red Dragons hold the same conference mark as the Lakers while improving to 1-6-1 on the year.

Oneonta scored a goal in the second minute of the contest and added three after the break to arrive at the final score. Oswego could not get much going offensively in the first half with no shots recorded but were able to put both of its second stanza shots on-goal. Junior classmate Audrey Burbidge and Chloe Lonergan each had one shot on-goal.

Emma Allen played 87 minutes between the pipes for the Lakers, stopping three Red Dragon opportunities. The sophomore is now 4-2-1 on the season. Sophia Portalatin appeared in net for the final three minutes of the contest but did not face an Oneonta attempt.

After six-straight road games, Oswego will return to the friendly confines of Laker Soccer Field when it tries to bounce back into the win column. The Lakers will host Plattsburgh in league play at 3 p.m. on Friday.
