OSWEGO, N.Y. - The Oswego State Volleyball team took care of St. John Fisher College in straight sets to kick off their final home stand of the season and improve to 14-9 on the year. Sophomore
Mira Legnon-Bozman led the Lakers offense with 11 kills on the evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The visiting Cardinals stormed out of the gate and grabbed a quick 5-0 lead on the Lakers. Oswego would tie the score at 19-19 and go up 22-20 on a serving run by senior Jessica Long. Fisher would tie it at 23-23 before an Ariana Wright kill and Shauna O'Flaherty ace would give the first set to the hosts.
- The second set belonged to the Lakers as they got up 13-6 early and cruised to a 25-17 win behind four kills and two blocks by senior Alison Sullivan.
- In the third, the teams were tied at 13-13, but a 12-3 Laker run would seal the match.
- Junior Julia Flohr recorded a double-double with 21 assists and 11 digs while fellow setter Alison Berger had nine assists and seven digs.
- O'Flaherty had seven kills, five aces and 10 digs in a diverse outing for the Lakers.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Lakers return to Max Ziel tomorrow for matches at 12 p.m. against Union College and a 2 p.m. non-conference matchup with fellow SUNYAC member Oneonta. The second match will see the Lakers honor seniors Sullivan, Long, Berger and Wright.
