THE BASICS
- Result: Fisher 4, Oswego 1
- Location: Laker Turf Stadium – Oswego, N.Y.
- Records: Fisher 10-4 | Oswego 4-8
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Oswego's defense played tough throughout the contest, including a 35-minute first half that saw just one Cardinal goal despite 11 shots and several penalty corners for the visitors.
- After Fisher added a second goal just over seven minutes into the second half, Reynolds cut the deficit in half.
- In what proved to be the only Laker score of the match, the senior duo of Conklin and Reynolds connected at 43:29 to make it a 2-1 margin.
- It was Reynolds' 11th goal of the year on an assist that came from the side on the end-line from her classmate.
- The Cardinals answered with two tallies in the next five minutes to pull away.
- In just her second career start in as many games, freshman goalie Lauren Catalano made 10 saves in 70 minutes.
- The Lakers did have opportunities down the stretch and were efficient in their shot selection, trying six shots, five of which were on target.
WHAT'S NEXT
Oswego hosts Morrisville State at 4 p.m. on Wednesday in its final SUNYAC matchup of the season. The Lakers will then have three nonconference tilts to round out the regular season.
