GENESEO, N.Y. – The Oswego State men's soccer team concluded its 2018 season with a double-overtime tie at Geneseo on Saturday afternoon. Oswego and Geneseo had to wait out a lightning delay with 2:45 left in the second overtime but the extra stoppage did not lead to a tally for either squad.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Both teams played a statistically even game, matching each other's outputs in several categories.
- The Lakers and Knights had five shots on-goal apiece, five saves each and both squads took five corner kicks.
- Oswego dominated the first half, attempting all four of the on-goal chances in the 45-minute period.
- Those four shots all came in the first 20 minutes, including two header opportunities.
- For the second day in a row, Laker goalie Brian Terra stopped an opponent penalty kick, keeping the tilt scoreless with less than a minute remaining in regulation.
- In the overtime periods, the sophomore made three more saves to secure the shutout.
- Jack Van Pelt had the last on-target try of the contest, but was denied in the 107th minute by the Knights' keeper.
WHAT'S NEXT
Oswego wraps the year just one spot out of the SUNYAC Championship picture and will return 19 players for the 2019 campaign.
