HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sophomore Joanna Christman stood strong, stopping nine shots in the first 20 minutes of the games. She faltered for the first time with less than five minute remaining in the first half, as the Red Dragons were able to find the back of the cage.
- Oneonta would tally one more goal before the end of the half.
- The Rochester, N.Y. native made 10 saves, allowing only three goals in the second half. She finished the day tying her career-best 19 saves in a contest.
- Alyssa DeMichael, Jenna Rogers and Abby Testo all recorded a shot on-goal.
- Rogers' shot found the stick of the Red Dragons' Jessica Kehoe for a defensive save.
- Testo denied Oneonta a goal, as she stopped a Colleen Geyer shot just two minutes into the second half.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Lakers return home on Tuesday as they host Hartwick for a non-conference matchup slated to begin at 4 p.m.
