HOW IT HAPPENED
- Despite going scoreless through the first two periods of play, Webster was able to beat Buffalo's Bri Gawronski late into the third period, for what would be the eventual game-winner.
- Tallying helpers on the Waterloo, Ont. native's goal was Eryn Stewart and Kate Randazzo.
- Webster is in a three-way tie with Stewart and Philomena Teggart for most goals on the team with three.
- Randazzo and Jean-marie Padden each put up six shots in the Lakers' efforts. The pair rank first and second, respectively, in shots taken this season.
- Rachael Farmer earned her second shutout in as many games as a Laker, posting 34 saves.
- The Lakers owned a one shot advantage (35-36) over the Bengals, while winning by two (35-33).
- Freshman Sara Cruise led the team in faceoff wins with 14.
- The penalty-kill unit successfully killed off all 11 Laker penalties.
