HOW IT HAPPENED
- Rachael Windhausen sparked an early Laker run with her and-1 converted layup in the game's opening possession. An additional two free throws by Windhausen had the Lakers up 5-0 early.
- After Brockport took its first lead of 8-7 with 2:18 remaining in the first, the Lakers closed the quarter on a 5-1 charge to lead 12-9 into the second.
- Brockport went back up 14-12 early in the second quarter, but Britton's four points and a Ramatoulaye Sy layup within 50 seconds had the Lakers back up 18-14 with 7:40 remaining in the half.
- A 15-4 run by the Golden Eagles led to Oswego trailing 29-24 at the break, despite a stout Laker defensive effort in the half, swatting away five Brockport shot attempts, including two each from Quincey Zimmerman and Sy.
- The Golden Eagles outscored the Lakers 16-10 in the third quarter to lead by double-digits, 45-34, going into the fourth.
- Sy's five straight points for the Lakers had them behind only by single digits at 51-43 with 3:30 remaining, but Oswego could not complete the comeback.
- Britton finished the game with 16 points and a season-high 15 rebounds, five of them coming offensively. Raiven Encarnacion also tallied 11 points for the contest.
- Oswego as a team completed a season-high in blocks with a total of nine, including four from Windhausen.
