OSWEGO, N.Y. – The No. 6/7 Oswego State men's ice hockey team downed Williams College in dramatic fashion, winning 6-3. Five different Lakers recorded goals in the victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Anthony Passero began the scoring for the Lakers as he collected a power play goal at 16:43 in the first period. His goal was assisted by Joseph Molinaro and Derek Brown.
- Williams was quick to tie the game at 1-1 as Dan Woolfenden converted on the Ephs' power play at 14:43. Woolfenden was aided by Tyler Scott and Marcus Mollica.
- Jody Sullivan recorded his second goal of the season as he was able to take a Josh Nenadal pass up the ice for a short-handed goal with six minutes remaining in the first stanza.
- The Ephs' would again reel in the Lakers, as Mollica sent a shot top shelf from the left post at 4:58. His goal was assisted by Robert Cellini and Nick Altman.
- The Lakers began to skate away with the contest as Michael Gillespie caused a turnover in the neutral zone that he eventually slotted with under four minutes remaining in the first period. Gillespie's tally was unassisted.
- Travis Broughman began the second period scoring on a 4-on-4. The freshman's goal came unassisted 1:55 into the period.
- Broughman would find his way onto the score sheet once again as he notched a wrap-around goal, helped along by Gillespie and Devin Campbell at 12:53 into the second period.
- The Lakers final tally was recorded by Joey Scorpio, for his first of the season, as his pass in front of the goal deflected off a defender's backside. Scorpio was aided by Nenadal with 4:22 left in the period.
- Williams' last attempt at a comeback came at 9:27 as Wyatt Glover was helped along by Nick VanBelle.
- David Richer spent all 60 minutes in net for the Lakers, collecting 16 saves.
- Oswego owned a 34-22 advantage in faceoff wins and was 3-for-4 on the penalty kill.

The Lakers return to action at 7 p.m. on Friday, as they host No. 9/9 Salve Regina on the opening day of the PathFinder Bank/Oswego State Hockey Classic.
