Josh Zizek led the team with a hat trick.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Michael Gillespie put the Lakers on the board first, as he found the back of the net 11:36 into the first period. He was assisted by Anthony Passero and Tyler Currie.
- Zizek recorded his tally of the night on the power play. His goal came at 1:38 in the second period, aided by Gillespie and Max Novick.
- The St. Catherine's, Ont. native found the back of the net again in the third period, helped along by Gillespie and Novick once again.
- Novick would find his way into the goal scorer's column mid-way through the final period, Gillespie and Zizek were accredited with the assists.
- Zizek sealed the deal for the Lakers, recorded his hat trick with seven minutes remaining in the contest, asstisted by Josh LeBlanc and Kristoffer Brun.
- The junior (3 G, 1 A) and Gillespie (1 G, 3 A) both ended the night with a team-high four points.
- Classmate Cedric Hansen recorded 17 saves in the victory.
- The Lakers owned advantages in shots 43-36 (31-19 on net) and faceoff wins 43-20.

Oswego returns to action on Saturday as it hosts archrival Plattsburgh in the 13th annual Whiteout game, slated to begin at 7 p.m. in the Marano Campus Center Arena.
