HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Golden Flyers were able make the board first, as Molly Calpin was able to corral a Lydia Dewart deflection past the goaltender just 3:44 into the first half. The Lakers answered right back, as Alyssa DeMichael notched her sixth goal on the season.
  • Earning the assist on was Lacey Woite, who crossed the ball in front of the cage for a waiting DeMichael.
  • Senior Katie Reynolds gave the Lakers the go ahead goal just four minutes later, as she collected a Jenna Rogers ball of the goalkeeper's pads and backhanded it into the goal. This was Rogers' first career assist.
  • After three unanswered Nazareth goals, Reynolds would tally her second goal of the game. The Pawling, N.Y. native's goal came as a result of a Woite pass in front of the goal.
  • With her two assists on the day, Woite now leads the team in most assists with six.
  • Goalkeeper Joanna Christman had seven saves on the day.
