HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lynsey Roth scored the first of the Lakers' two goals 36:60 into the first half for her second of the tournament. Freshman Graisa Madden was accredit with the assist, for her first collegiate point.
- Gab Garcea was able to collect a ball early in the second half from Liz Myers and found the back of the net to seal the deal for the Lakers. It is Myers' first collegiate assist.
- The Laker defenses came up big in the contest, not allowing a single ball to be put on goalkeeper Emma Allen. Allen, like the Lakers, is still perfect on the season.
- This is the second year in a row that Allen was able to shutout the Spartans, as last year's tourney ended in a 0-0 (2 OT) draw.
- Oswego held an unbelievable advantage in shots (24-0) and shots-on-goal (12-0).
