Joseph Molinaro had a team-high two goals in the contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Molinaro notched his first goal of the night 5:14 into the first period, which would eventually prove to be the game-winner. The forward's tally was assisted by Tyson Kirkby and Devin Campbell.
- The Mississauga, Ont. native added an insurance score little over seven minutes into the second period, a power play goal. His goal was helped along by assistant captain Cameron Berry, his second assist of the season. Molinaro is now tied for first on the team for most goals with eight.
- Kirkby earned his second point of the evening with a goal three minutes later, the first of his collegiate-career. Tyler Currie owned the lone assist on the freshman's goal.
- Fellow classmate Josh LeBlanc closed out the second period with a tally, his fourth goal of the season, aided by line mate Josh Zizek and Max Novick.
- Novick was quick to open the final stanza of the contest with a goal. The defensemen's score came less than two minutes into the period and was assisted by Anthony Passero.
- Eight minutes later Jody Sullivan recorded the team's fifth short-handed goal of the season, helped along by Campbell and Josh Nenadal.
- With the last Laker tally was transfer Derek Brown. Brown's third tally as a Laker was a power play goal, assisted by Zizek and Mitch Emerson.
- Goaltender David Richer recorded his second shutout of the season, padding away 14 Red Dragon shots.
- The Lakers owned a 43-22 advantage in faceoff wins, while out-shooting Cortland 48-15.

Oswego returns to action at 7 p.m. on Friday for Employee Appreciation Night as they host Morrisville for a SUNYAC contest.
