NEW PALTZ, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's basketball fell 79-45 to fellow SUNYAC competitor New Paltz on the road Tuesday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Quincey Zimmerman opened up the scoring for the Lakers with a 3-point bucket in the opening minute to give the team a 3-2 lead.
• New Paltz went on a 13-3 in the remaining six minutes of the first period to push its lead to 25-10.
• Trailing 45-18 at the half, Oswego outrebounded New Paltz 20-19, including five from Ramatoulaye Sy.
• The Lakers outscored New Paltz 17-11 in the fourth period, with Tatyana Fish and Amanda Altes combining for 11 points.
• Sy finished with a team-high eight points and seven rebounds for the evening. Fish went 3-for-4 shooting to finish with seven points and three assists.
