SKANEATELES, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's ice hockey team tied in an out of conference, neutral site contest with Nazareth College on Tuesday afternoon. Natalie Giglio had the lone Laker tally.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• A junior, Giglio recorded her first goal of the season on the Laker power play. The forward's tally at 16:31 in the first period was the result of a tipped Avery Webster shot, aided by Eryn Stewart.
• The Lakers would maintain their one goal lead until midway through the second period as the Golden Flyers were able to capitalize on their power play.
• Emma Morisette and Anikka Neufeld-Kreider led the team with on-goal attempts with four apiece.
• Freshman tender Cassie Shokar stopped seven crucial shots in the overtime period, giving her a game total 34 saves in her 65 minutes between the pipes.
• Oswego led the shot count through the first (9-7) and third (14-8) periods.

The Lakers return to action at 7 p.m. on Friday in the first game of their away-home series with conference competitor Potsdam.
