OSWEGO, N.Y. -- The Oswego State field hockey team fell to Geneseo in its final home contest of the season on Saturday. Prior to the game, the team honored Riley Mallett as part of Senior Day.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Geneseo recorded the game's first two goals inside the opening six minutes.
- The Lakers tallied their first goal 6:22 into the third quarter as Kacie Simzer scored on a corner off assists from Kathleen Little and Jenna Rogers. Little's assist marked her team-leading fifth of the season.
- Geneseo scored a goal in each of the final two quarters to seal the win.
- Simzer and Alyssa DeMichael led Oswego with three shots on-goal apiece over 60 minutes of action. Megan Delaney and Kaitlyn Mastracco recorded the other on-target chances.
- For the fourth time this season, goalie Erica Scheblein recorded double-digit saves, finishing with a new career-high of 20.

The Lakers will conclude their 2019 season with a 7 p.m. matchup on Wednesday at St. John Fisher College.
