OSWEGO, N.Y. - Junior Sophia Portalatin saved eight shots and classmate Lynsey Roth scored a pair of goals as the Lakers finish the season with a 2-0 conference victory over Buffalo State.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Lakers took the early lead halfway through the first half when the Bengals committed a foul inside their own box at 24:08.
• Roth converted the penalty shot and put Oswego up 1-0.
• The deficit energized the visitors and they finished the half with the next ten shots, with Portalatin notching saves on half of them.
• Oswego began the second half the same way as the first with some pressure and an early goal at the 62:18 mark from Roth.
• Freshman Katharine Balog tallied an assist on Roth's second goal, her first of the season.
• Portalatin made one final save a few minutes later as the Laker defense kept the Bengal chances to a minimum.
