ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Oswego State field hockey team dropped a conference matchup at Oneonta on Saturday afternoon.
Kathleen Little was able to knot the game less than five minutes in but Oneonta pulled away in the second half.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Oneonta lit up the board in the opening two minutes but junior Kathleen Little knotted the game less than four minutes later.
- At 4:47 of the first quarter, Little was able to find the back of the cage for her second tally of the year.
- The Red Dragons were able to make it a 2-1 advantage at the break but added three in the second half to secure the victory.
- Goalie Erica Scheblein made the second-most saves in her young career, stopping 12 on-goal attempts from Oneonta.
- Little finished with two of the Lakers' three on-target attempts while sophomore Leah Romanowski recorded the other.
WHAT'S NEXT
Oswego will take a break from conference play in its next outing, traveling to Albany, N.Y. to take on The Sage Colleges at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
