Kyle Bacon led the team with four points.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a mostly scoreless first period, Oswego got itself on the board with a goal as freshman Weston Gray recorded his first-collegiate tally, assisted from Tim Schof for a 1-0 lead at the 2:27 mark.
- Early in the second period, the Lakers struck again with a goal from Bacon off the assist from Evan Hollfelder for a 2-0 advantage, Hollfelder's first point in green and gold.
- Bacon scored his second goal of the contest to tie it up 3-3 early in the third period after trailing 3-2 at halftime.
- With 3:34 remaining in the third period, Hollfelder scored a goal assisted by Dan Doolan tying it up 4-4. Moving into the fourth, Oswego then took back the lead, 5-4, after Bobby Emerson scored with 9:24 to go.
- Bacon would complete his hat trick with 46 seconds left in the contest, while Schof earned another assist to put the game out of reach with a 6-4 lead. The Montgomery, N.Y. native was 3-for-3 with shots on-goal resulting in goals.
- Sophomore goalie Kevin O'Donnell finished with 21 saves on 39 Hartwick shot attempts, while allowing five goals.
- Leading Oswego in faceoff wins was Kyle O'Connor who won seven of 14.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Lakers return to action for their home-opener at 4 p.m. on Wednesday as they host Ithaca College at Laker Turf Stadium.
