HOW IT HAPPENED
Game 1

- After a scoreless first inning, the middle of the order scored for the Lakers in the second.
- Harrington led off with a single, advanced on a single by Taylor DuBois and scored on a base hit by freshman Brianna LoMonaco.
- Shortstop Erin Sweeney kept the pressure on the Cardinals with a leadoff double in the third inning and advanced to third base on a wild pitch.
- Vilchez converted the run with a groundout to the right side.
- Later in the inning, Frampton reached on a dropped fly ball and advanced to second on the error. Harrington's second hit of the game, a double, would plate Frampton to give Oswego a 3-0 lead.
- LoMonaco walked in the third and Sweeney doubled her home to make it three-straight innings with runs for the Lakers.
- Oswego put the leadoff runner aboard again in the fifth on a single from Vilchez and an Emily Knowlden double put the runners in scoring position.
- A pair of sacrifice flies from Frampton and Harrington made it 6-0 and three more runs in the sixth behind Knowlden's second double put the game away.
Game 2
- Harrington began where Vilchez left off in the first game, retiring the first nine Cardinal batters.
- The Lakers broke through in the top of the fourth inning when they loaded the bases on walks by Aleah Yaizzo, Sweeney and Vilchez. A Frampton single brought two runners home.
- Plattsburgh answered right back in the bottom of the inning to tie the game at 2-2.
- It stayed that way until the sixth inning when Sweeney walked and Knowlden homered to move the Lakers back in front.
- Frampton (2-5) picked up the win in the second game with a clean inning and Vilchez eaned the save while only allowing one batter to reach base in the final two innings of work.
- On the day, Knowlden was 4-for-8 with four RBI and Sweeney reached base in 6-of-7 plate appearances to lead the offense.
