HOW IT HAPPENED
- Chilson turned a 2-0 deficit into a 4-2 lead with one out in the seventh inning with his second home run of the season. Â

- Oswego plated a fifth run when Dylan Frawley and Myles Felton walked to put runners in scoring position, and Rocco Leone singled to earn the RBI.
- Rochester looked to take control of the game early on with two runs in the fifth and were using a platoon of pitchers, five in the first six innings, to keep Oswego off the board.
- The Yellowjackets cut into the Laker lead with two runs in the eighth inning and had the go-ahead run aboard with two outs, but junior Ben Wilcox came in to induce a groundout to keep Oswego on top heading into the ninth inning.
- Bobby Zywicki came on in the ninth and buckled down with one out and the bases loaded to force a shallow fly out and a groundout to seal the win and earn his second save of the season.
- Jake Jacobs went the first four innings for the Lakers, allowing only four runners to reach base while striking out three. Anthony Van Fossen (2-0) earns the win with a clean sixth inning of work.
