GENESEO, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's lacrosse team's season came to an end on Friday as it fell to top-seeded Geneseo in game one of the SUNYAC Semifinals. Following the title game,
Danielle Walker was named to the SUNYAC All-Championship Team.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Oswego was given its only lead of the contest at 25:55 in the first half, as Molly Beck found Brigid Regin at the top of the fan, putting the Lakers up 1-0.
- After four goals by the opposition, Regin and Beck connected once again, cutting the goal deficit in half with 19:23 remaining in the stanza.
- Toni Laneve penned her name on the stat sheet with a pair of goals at 10:29 and 3:45, broken up by a trio of Knights' goals. Both of Laneve's scores were recorded unassisted.
- The first-seeded host posted 10 goals as it closed out the first half and kept the Lakers off the scoreboard for a majority of the second half.
- Laneve posted the final tally of the game, helped along by Teresa Shattuck with 5:42 left on the game clock.
- Elianna Sanchez earned the start, posting three saves while collecting two ground balls during her 45:27 in the goal.
- As appearing in goal, Paige Noel also recorded three saves during her 17:03 played.
- Leading the squad on the stat sheet, Walker collected team and career-highs in ground balls (8) and caused turnovers (7).
WHAT'S NEXT
As the Lakers' season comes to an end, the program looks to return 19 athletes to the roster for their 2020 campaign.
