HOW IT HAPPENED
- Asamoah's game-winner came less than five minutes into overtime off an assist from Omar Espinoza. The play marked Espinoza's first-collegiate assist and Asamoah's team-leading sixth goal.
- Espinoza filled the left-side of the box as Asamoah came down the center with Michael Gualtieri on his right.
- Espinoza snuck a pass through a defender to Asamoah who buried a low shot into the back of the net.
- The Lakers got off to an early lead as freshman Kieran Gilroy found the upper left corner of the net just 15 seconds into the game.
- It is the third time in four games that Oswego has scored in the game's first 40 seconds, two of those coming in the opening 15 ticks.
- Oswego continued to apply offensive pressure throughout the first half with five additional shots on-goal, three of which came from Anthony Paris.
- RIT responded with its only goal midway through the second half at 52:06.
- Goalkeeper Brian Terra made four saves between the pipes, all coming in the second half.
- Oswego owned a 9-5 advantage over the Tigers in on-target shot attempts and edged-out RIT in corner-kick opportunities (4-3).
