DALLAS, PA - Senior middle hitter
Lauren Fie earned All-Tournament Team honors for the second straight week in helping the Oswego State Volleyball to a pair of wins at the Misericordia Cougar Clash. The Lakers downed York (PA) in straight sets before taking down Misericordia by a 3-1 score. The Lakers finished the tournament with a 3-1 record.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the first match of the day against York, senior Sarah Massie and junior Melissa Lussier each posted 10 kills in the sweep.
- Outside hitter Shauna O'Flaherty had seven kills and 13 digs and setter Julia Flohr had a double-double with 23 assists and 14 digs.
- Fie had six kills and four aces and sophomore Skylar Bechard had 11 digs.
- Versus Misericordia, the first set was tight until Lussier went on a seven-point service run to turn a 12-10 lead into a 19-10 insurmountable advantage.
- The second set was even at 17-17 when the Lakers went on an 8-4 run down the stretch to go up 2-0.
- The Cougars came out bombing away from the service line in the third to cruise to a 25-14 set victory.
- Junior Emily Costa served Oswego to a 5-0 lead in the fourth and Oswego never looked back, leading by as many as 10 at 21-11.
- Fie was unstoppable with 14 kills and a .440 attack percentage while Flohr had 30 assists and five kills.
- Lussier had seven kills, six digs and five aces and Costa reached double-digit digs with 12.

The Lakers head down to Cazenovia for a 7 p.m. non-conference match on Tuesday.
