OSWEGO, N.Y. - The Oswego State men's basketball team had their seven-game win streak snapped at home on Tuesday night with a 76-66 loss to the Oneonta Red Dragons. The Lakers had a 35-33 lead at the half, but 55% shooting by the visitors in the second half helped propel them to victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Oneonta built a 10-point lead over the first 14 minutes of the opening half with a 24-14 lead.
- Freshman Jeremiah Sparks drained nine points and senior Brandan Gartland added six in an 18-4 run over the next five minutes to give Oswego a 32-28 lead.
- In the last minute of the half, the teams traded 3-pointers before a buzzer-beating fall-away jumper by the Red Dragons cut the lead to 35-33.
- During the first 10 minutes of the second half, the teams traded the lead back-and-forth with Oneonta holding a 50-48 lead with 9:38 remaining.
- The visitors, behind their bench, made a 17-6 run during the next five minutes to push their lead out to a game-high 13 points and a score of 67-54 with 4:48 left in the contest.
- Buckets from Sparks, senior Joe Sullivan and Gartland would bring the Lakers back within seven with a minute left, but they would get no closer.
- Sparks led Oswego with 23 points while Sullivan recorded another double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds.
