OSWEGO, N.Y. - Junior
Raiven Encarnacion led Oswego with 13 points, but a strong team-defensive effort by the visiting Red Dragons of Oneonta helped them pull out the 50-35 victory over the Lakers on Tuesday evening in the Max Ziel Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Things were scoreless nearly five minutes until senior Quincey Zimmerman drained a three kick things off.
- Oneonta answered with a layup and 3-pointer of their own before Zimmerman hit another from distance to put Oswego back up 6-5 with 2:54 left in the quarter.
- The Red Dragons then heated up, scoring the final nine points of the quarter to take a 14-6 lead.
- Encarnacion hit a pair of threes in the second quarter to keep Oswego in it, but another 9-2 run in the final three minutes had Oneonta up 28-14 at the half.
- Both teams clamped down on defense in the third quarter with both scoring just seven points.
- Oswego cut the lead to 10 points on jumpers from senior Sydni Eure and Encarnacion early in the fourth quarter.
- A 10-2 answer from Oneonta clinched the game for the visitors.
- Eure had her sixth double-double of the season with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
- Junior Taylor Torchia had four points and a pair of steal for the Lakers.
