OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State men's ice hockey team defeated the Fredonia Blue Devils by a score of 4-1 tonight. All four goals were scored by seniors.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Oswego scored the first goal of the game at the 9:07 mark of the first period.
- The goal was scored by Carter Allen and assisted by Joseph Molinaro and Jody Sullivan.
- At the end of the first period, the Lakers led in shots 26-4 and 13-4 in shots on goal.
- Fredonia tied the contest 2:21 into the second period, the goal was scored by Chandler Judd.
- Going into the third period the Lakers led 35-10 in shots on goal.
- Anthony Passero scored just as a Fredonia penalty expired from the point, putting Oswego up 2-1.
- The goal was assisted by senior Tyler Currie and Tyson Kirkby.
- Travis Broughman dished a perfect back-door pass to senior Josh Zizek for his 10th goal of the year.
- Tyler Antonucci was credited with an assist on the goal that put Oswego up 3-1 lead with 2:48 remaining in the third period.
- Zizek scored his second goal of the game, an empty-netter as the Lakers iced the game with 8.1 seconds remaining.
- Currie and Sullivan added their second assists of the night on the final tally.
- Senior David Richer stopped 14 shots in earning his ninth win of the season for the Lakers.

The Lakers will host the SUNYAC Championship Semifinal matchup on Saturday, February 29 at 7p.m. Oswego's opponent will be determined Wednesday night in the SUNYAC Championship First Round.
