OSWEGO, N.Y. – Senior
Sydni Eure was one rebound away from a triple-double as the Oswego State women's basketball team fell to the Brockport Golden Eagles by a score of 81-73. Three other Lakers joined Eure in double-figure scoring for Oswego.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lakers started off the first quarter scoring four in a row but then Brockport answered with six of their own.
- Both teams then started exchanging baskets, but Oswego managed to regain the lead to end the first at 18-15.
- The teams continued to battle as Brockport got the upper hand and gained a 25-24 lead with 6:40 remaining in the first half.
- Brockport took a 42-39 lead into the half.
- The first half was competitive with eight lead changes, while Quincey Zimmerman led the Lakers with 13 points followed by Eure with 10.
- The Lakers regained the lead (47-46) with 5:17 remaining in the third quarter from a fastbreak score by Eure.
- The game was still tied, 51-51, with 2:56 remaining with Eure and Erin Gantley leading the charge on offense.
- The Golden eagles went on a 9-0 run to end the third quarter and lead 60-51.
- Oswego was able to cut the lead to as close as 64-57 in the fourth quarter, but 3-for-7 shooting from distance helped Brockport close out the contest.
- Zimmerman led the team in scoring with 21 points as Eure was right behind with 20 points, 10 assists and 9 rebounds.
- Gantley (13) and junior Taylor Torchia (11) were the other Lakers in double figures while senior Morgan Wolanin had eight points and four blocks.
