BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's cross country team finished in 11
th place at the Canisius Alumni Classic in Buffalo. Freshman
Faith Coyle led the women with a sixty-eighth place finish in the 123-runner field on the women's side. The men did not post a team score, but
Nathan Couse was the top finisher for the Lakers with a fifty-eighth in the 120-runner event.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Coyle completed the 5k course in 21 minutes, 25.9 seconds with fellow freshman Ellen Decker coming in 13 seconds later in seventy-fourth.
- Junior Emily Blake and Haley Clear were eighty-first and eighty-second, respectively.
- Rounding out the team score was junior Rebecca Cropsey in a time of 24:30.8.
- For the men, sophomore Matthew Pietzak finished twenty second behind Couse in sixty-seventh.
- Freshmen Miguel Tineo Reyes (30:10.2) came through in eighty-seventh and Andrew Deming (30:22.7) was ninety-first.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Lakers will take part in the 2021 SUNYAC Championships on October 30 at Cortland.
