BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The Oswego State's Field Hockey team won a thriller in a shootout against the Golden Eagles of Brockport. Mastracco scored with just 16 seconds remaining in the contest to tie the match. Scheblein stamps herself into program history with 26 saves in a single game. She is now tied at ninth place in Laker History for saves in a single game.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first quarter for Lakers and Golden Eagles was back-and-forth, the goalies for both stood strong in the first quarter keeping the game at zero's.
- Kaitlyn Mastracco opened the scoring for Oswego at the 19:21 mark of the contest.
- Just under three minutes later, Alyssa DeMichael got in on the action, she scored her sixth goal of the season.
- The goal was assisted by Mastracco, finding herself on the scoresheet for the second time of the contest.
- Brockport answered back 2:20 later, cutting the lead in half.
- Following Oswego's start, Brockport tied the contest at two's just over two minutes later.
- At half the game remained tied.
- Ten minutes into the third quarter Brockport took their first lead, 3-2.
- With multiple saves from each goalkeeper in the third quarter this remained the lone goal.
- With many teeter-tottering opportunities in the fourth quarter, it seemed that the goalkeepers were going to prevail in the fourth quarter.
- This was until the Lakers pressured the offensive zone hard into the depth of the fourth quarter.
- With opportunity after opportunity, it seemed the Brockport goalie had the Lakers number going into the final minute of play.
- With 00:45 to play, Leah Romanowski took three consecutive penalty corners for her team.
- The pressure of the Laker offense was immense, on the third consecutive corner, Romanowski got it to the top of the shooters box perfectly.
- From here, Rogers recieved the penalty corner from who then passed it to Abby Testo, Testo then got it to the net where Mastracco found the ball on her stick and put it to the back of the net with authority with 16 ticks remaining.
- Both overtime periods were end-to-end, once again the goalkeepers found themselves victorious.
- The game would be decided in a shootout, the first goal for the Lakers was scored by Mastracco.
- DeMichael scored the Lakers second goal in the shootout, which proved to be the game-deciding goal.
- Erica Scheblein stood tall for Oswego, only allowing one goal in the shootout.
- Scheblein had a total of 26 saves, tying Kristen Buckley of the 1990 Oswego State Field Hockey Team, for ninth in program history for single game saves record.
