OSWEGO, N.Y. – Junior
Ryan Young gave the Oswego State men's soccer team the early lead, but #19 New Paltz scored a pair of second half goals, including one in the final two minutes, to take a 2-1 decision.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lakers got on the board when Omar Espinoza slipped a pass down the right sideline to Kieran Gilroy.
- Gilroy then blocked the defense's clear attempt and outraced the goalie to the ball and slipped a centering pass to Young for the goal inside the left post.
- New Paltz answered with a goal in the forty-ninth minute and notched the game winner late to secure the road win.
- The Hawks outshot Oswego 18 to 12 and had an 8-2 edge in corners.
- Senior Brian Terra made five saves for the Lakers in goal.
- Freshman Kyle Hanner led Oswego with four shots while Young had three.
WHAT'S NEXT
A win or tie from the Lakers tomorrow versus Oneonta at 1 p.m. during Senior Day will clinch a berth into the SUNYAC Championship Tournament.
