OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Knights of Geneseo handed the Oswego State men's soccer team their first conference loss of the season with a 2-1 defeat on Saturday. The Lakers are currently sitting in third in the conference with their 4-1-1 conference mark.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lakers had more chances with an 18-13 edge in shots and a 7-4 edge in shots-on-goal.
- Geneseo struck first from a header in the box that arrived via corner kick at the 32:07 mark.
- In the second half, the Knights sent another cross into the Laker box where Oswego attempted to clear.
- The ball fell to Geneseo's Justin Arilotta after a scramble and he was able to net the goal.
- With less than five minutes to play, Kyle Gehnrich smashed a rebound home after a Kieran Gilroy shot was deflected.
- While the Lakers led in shots, Geneseo had a 4-1 edge in corners.
