HOW IT HAPPENED
- The game was close in the opening quarter with the Hawks holding a 23-22 lead.
- Oswego took the lead at the half with an 18-13 run in the second quarter.
- Balanced scoring from Chastin Giles (11), Logan Nyemchek (9), Elaina Johnson (8) and Shania Iglesias (8) helped the Lakers pull away.
- Pickett finished with her second double-double by adding 12 rebounds and helping Oswego win the battle of the boards, 56-46.
- Giles added seven rebounds and six assists to her stat line.
- The Lakers used aggressive play to hold a 15-4 edge from the free throw line to help put the game away.
